Summer Is Here!

As we know, now is the time to re-evaluate and adjust your clients skin care routine, taking into account the skin's differing needs during warm weather. One of the best places to start is with an enzyme peel made from pumpkin, which will gently exfoliate away dry, flaky and winter-dull skin.

The enzymes in pumpkin work similarly to an alpha-hydroxy acid.

They dissolve the dead skin cells that line the epidermis, or top layer of skin, which can cause a dull or lackluster appearance if not exfoliated away. In addition, the enzymes in pumpkin encourage new cell turnover and growth, making this treatment especially effective for acneic or aging skin. Pumpkin also features a high percentage of vitamin A and beta carotene, giving the fruit its distinctive orange color, and also providing anti-aging and anti-oxidant benefits to the skin when applied topically. Pumpkin products are safe for use by all skin types.

Rich with pumpkin and sodium hyalauronate for moisture, Pumpkin Enzyme Exfolliating Mask will gently lift off dead skin cells, as well as accelerate healing of congested or blemished skin.

Treatment

As a general rule, treat your skin with this mask 1- 2 times per week for a dry skin, and 2 - 3 times per week for an oilier skin.

Enzyme exfoliation is also helpful for darker skin tones like African American skin, because chemical exfoliants can cause skin lightening or pigmentation problems.
